This qualification is for people who have successfully completed AUR30616 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and who wish to further develop their automotive diagnostic skillset.

This qualification is suitable for International Students who wish to study in Australia and develop skills and knowledge within the automotive repair industry. Students are required to hold a current Australian visa with study rights to commence this course.

All theory classes are undertaken at the Spring Hill campus located at Level 5, 67 Astor Terrace, Spring Hill 4000 and Practical Training and Assessment is undertaken at the College’s Practical Training Facility, located at Supreme Automotive - 30 Benronalds Street, Seventeen Mile Rocks 4073.

Assessment Methods include - Underpinning Knowledge Assessment (theory questions), Case Scenario Assessment (simulation) and Practical Observation. Written Assessments will be completed electronically in class and approximately 2 hours/week in your own time. All Practical Assessments are completed during class.

3. Computer skills and your own personal computer to complete the assessments electronically

4. Proficiency in English (Minimum 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent, Completed Australian Qualification Certificate IV or higher or successfully complete the college Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment)
