AUR20218 Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
This qualification prepares new entrants to the automotive industry to perform a range of servicing and repair tasks on automotive air conditioning systems. Successful completion of this course will enable students to apply for a refrigerant handling licence which is issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council.
This qualification is suitable for new entrants and people working within the automotive repair industry.
All theory classes are undertaken at the College's Practical Training Facility. Theory Assessments are undertaken in student's own time and Practical Assessments are undertaken in student's workplace or at the College’s Practical Training Facility, located at Supreme Automotive - 30 Benronalds Street, Seventeen Mile Rocks 4073.
Assessment Methods include - Underpinning Knowledge Assessment (theory questions), Case Scenario Assessment (simulation) and Practical Observation.
